New versions of ITCH DJ software

October has revealed a number of new hardware controllers for ITCH. Serato have created a series of point releases to ship with each new controller. These versions of ITCH can now activate a range of effects with the Numark NSFX (shipping November) and the Vestax VFX-1 (shipping now). They also provide hardware drivers for the first of a new range of ITCH audio components.

Denon are about to ship their DN-HC5000 ITCH controller which can be used with any mixer. UK mixer giants Allen & Heath have also announced the Xone:DX, sporting a 20 channel sound card supporting 24bit/ 96KHz audio.

The next couple of months will see a number of 1.x ITCH software versions shipped with the new controllers. The next online ITCH release will be a small 1.5 update in late 2009 and the big 2.0 in early 2010.

E' ragionevole pensare che ITCH 2.0 a 4 Deck non sia ancora pronto ma per supportare le nuove effettiere midi di Vestax e Numark e i nuovi controller Denon e A&H c'è bisogno per forza di un update, guarda caso rilasceranno la 1.5

ITCH 1.5 supporterà Snow Leopard, su Windows 7 anche se il supporto non è ancora ufficiale pare che anche ITCH 1.1 funzioni bene.
Per avere il supporto dei 4 decks pare occorrerà attendere ITCH 2.0

Ci tengo a precisare che la nuove versioni di ITCH (1.3 - 1.4 - 1.5) senza le effettiere Numark NSFX o Vestax VFX-1 collegate non permettono l'utilizzo degli effetti, anche perchè le mappature midi su ITCH non sono modificabili.

* Improvements to subcrate expand/collapse code which should hopefully reduce gui lags that occur when expanding/collapsing crates
* Fix for bug where halving a loop and then doubling the loop to it's original size would result in a loop of the wrong length

* Fixed scratch detection for when using keylock
* Fixed bug where NSFX FX mix was not initialising correctly on start up.
* Fixing crash on hotplugging the NSFX
* Fix for bug where Loop shift would jump twice the distance when the NSFX was plugged in.

FX Specific
* Fixed bit crusher MOD/X name - was "BLEND". Supposed to be "SKEW".
* Fix for the depth change bug - you needed to move the depth knob when selecting
a new effect for the new effect to pick up the depth values correctly.
* Fixed reverser count bug. The problem was that the GUI was not in sync with the count that was actually in effect.
* Fixed Effects GUI bug where X1 and X2 note durations showed 16/1 and 32/1 instead of 1/16 and 1/32 for delay and echo.

When you plug in an effects controller - a Numark NSFX or a Vestax VFX-1, you will be able to use effects and will see an effects display appear between the library and the decks.

* The left effect processor is assigned to deck A by default.
* The right effect processor is assigned to deck B by default.
* Eliminated clicks on effect switching

* Eliminated artifacts when adjusting feedback on delay and echo
* Eliminated artifacts while adjusting the depth knob on the reverb and tremolo
* Fixed Effects GUI not showing correct time values.

* Fix for the VFX's latched LEDs being reversed
* Fix for latching behavior being reversed
* Fixed tremolo not working while depth knob was being moved

Ciao sono incuriosito da questo software, anche perchè durante alune serate ho incontrato dij che lo usano, ora volevo chiedere se con i 2 numark icdx e il mixer djm 400 pioneer si puo' interfacciare in hdi magari in seguito cone postatato sopra affiancando la effettiera vestax, grazie.

Non puoi, Serato ITCH funziona solo con i controller:

Numark NS7 & NSFX
Vestax VCI-300 and VFX-1
Denon DJ DN-HC5000
e funzionerà nelle prossime versioni anche con l' Allen & Heath Xone DX.

Non è che magari hai visto usare Serato Scrach ? ITCH è un altro software sempre fatto da Serato ma dedicato ai controller midi.

* Reversed the order of auto loop roll buttons. Leftmost button is now the shortest loop, rightmost the longest.
* Fixed a bug where instant doubled songs' positions are initially substantially offset if one of the platters has to spin up or down to get to the equal spin rate.

FX Specific
* FX cue now replaces the channel cue when the FX are on for the NSFX - essentially, FX cue is on when the fx are on
* Fix for bug where selecting reverb, turn effect unit on and then switching to the next effect would cause the effect to not be processed even though it was active on the gui and the controller
* Fixed crash that could occur when connecting fx hardware or starting up with FX already connected

Ciao a tutti, ho avuto recentemente dei problemi con le ultime canzoni che ho scaricato da itunes e la compatibilità con itch.

Ho scaricato l'ultima di timbaland e katy perry ,l'ultima di Cheryl Cole - 3 words e anche altre
praticamente itch me leriporta in automatico come sempre dalle playlist di itunes però quando vado a suonare il file mi risulta corrotto. ovvero con il simbolino di itunes rotto e non viene visualizzato. Lo sposto sul player ma compare solo il titolo. Ho provato anche ad analizzarlo in modo forzato, spostando il file sull'icona analyze ma niente.
Mi è successo con tutte le canzoni nuove scaricate da itunes... qualcuno sa darmi una risposta?
Praticamente per suonarle mi tocca masterizzarle su un cd e ricaricarle dal cd su itunes. allora a quel punto le legge.

Ho provato a scaricare la versione beta 1.5 e il problema si è risolto.
è sicuramente un problema di aggiornamento...spero solo che la 1.5 di ITCH ufficiale esca presto.
